Karachi: Brother slaughtered his widowed sister with a sharp instrument over a property dispute in Shahr Quaid.
In Azizabad, Hussainabad area Block 3 Siddiqueabad, brother slaughtered his widowed sister with a sharp tool due to a property dispute.
According to the police, the woman was slaughtered and killed by stabbing a sharp instrument in house number 1322/3, after receiving the information, the police reached the spot and took the body into custody and took it to Abbasi by Edhi ambulance. Transferred to Shaheed Hospital.
The victim was identified as 55-year-old Kulsoom, wife of Abdul Majeed, who was stabbed to death by her brother. The police took the accused into custody and shifted him to the police station with the help of local residents.
The arrested accused is addicted to drugs while the victim is a widow and childless and she was living with her brother. The deceased had an argument with her brother over a property dispute. A murder knife was recovered from the arrested accused Naeem Abdul Kareem.
During the murder, the hands of the accused have also been injured. The accused told the police that they have 2 brothers and 4 sisters. The siblings had sold the mother’s flat and not given her share, over which she killed the sister. Police have started further investigation into the incident.
