Peshawar: A fight broke out between PTI and ANP lawyers in Peshawar High Court in which one lawyer was injured.
According to Express News, the Mulgri lawyers protested against the court, on which the Mulgri lawyers and ILF members fought with each other, the lawyers showered punches on each other, during which one of the Mulgri lawyers was injured, who was treated by the ANP lawyers. Transferred to BHU for assistance.
After the incident, as the matter escalated, the PTI lawyers took shelter in the bar room.
ANP’s lawyers’ organization Malgri Vakilan protested in the Peshawar High Court and alleged that special concessions are being given to certain parties in cases, leaders of certain parties reach the High Court as ladles, especially political parties. Why is the Jamaat being given such a discount? Questions will arise.
Provincial President Malikgari Vakila Ahmed Farooq Khattak Advocate said that the scales of justice are tilted towards a certain party, the purpose of the protest is to restore people’s trust in the judiciary.
Talking to the media, the provincial president of Mulgri Lawyers Farooq Ahmad Farooq Khattak said that the court’s inclination towards PTI is not right. They will protest across the province.
Farooq Khattak said that Peshawar High Court should not be made a political high court, instead of giving relief to one political party, give equal relief to all citizens.
