Karachi: Additional District and Sessions Judge West granted bail to DSP accused Umeer Tariq in the case of robbery at a businessman’s house in Orangi Town.
In Karachi City Court, in front of Court No. 2 of Additional District and Sessions Judge West, a hearing was held on the bail application of DSP accused Umeer Tariq in the case of robbery at the house of a businessman in Orangi Town.
Accused’s lawyer, Aamir, Associate Advocate, stated that baseless allegations have been made against my client, former SSP South said that everything happened and he was acquitted, SHO Pirabad is the officer who committed the robbery. I was involved and he is involved in the inquiry of this case.
Amir’s assigned advocate stated that we are facing a trial, bail should be accepted.
After hearing the stand, the court granted bail to the accused Umair Tariq and ordered him to submit a bond of one lakh rupees.
According to the police, DSP is accused of robbery of two crore rupees in the house of businessman Shakir Khan, the accused had also stolen 70 to 80 tolas of gold from the house.
