Islamabad: Former Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi has said that I will not contest the election.

Shahid Khaqan Abbasi while talking to the media outside the Accountability Court Islamabad said that the case has been pending in NAB for 4 years, during which not a single witness has come and the case has not been conducted. He has been standing in NAB courts for attending a meeting for 4 years.

He said that today’s NAB chairman doesn’t even know that people’s lives are being destroyed. Who will give an account of the cruelty that is happening in this country today? Today, our Supreme Court opens at night and takes decisions. Why does the Supreme Court not realize those people whose decisions have been pending in the courts for years? He said that I will not contest the election.

Earlier, the hearing of the LNG reference against the former Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi was held in the Accountability Court Islamabad in front of Judge Muhammad Bashir, in which the lawyer of Shahid Khaqan Abbasi appeared and pleaded that there is an intra-court appeal in the Supreme Court.
