Karachi: A 7-year-old child was killed in firing at a wedding ceremony in Shah Latif’s Pir Sir Hindigoth area, the police arrested two people who fired.
The accused named Azhar, Adnan and Bahawal opened fire in the air at a wedding ceremony in Pir Sirhandi Goth within the limits of Shah Latif police station, as a result of which a 7-year-old child, Ahmed Raza, who was present at the ceremony, was killed by a bullet.
According to SHO Shah Latif Miraj Anwar, the wedding was of a person named Wajid Jokhio, in which three persons opened fire in the air, the child was killed in the firing, the police have arrested the accused named Zaheer and Adnan, while the third The accused Bahawal has escaped and the search is on.
SHO Shah Latif says that if the bridegroom or his family members are responsible for aerial firing during the wedding, legal action will be taken by registering a case against them as well.
The police is investigating the incident and the statements of the people present at the event are also being recorded.
