general elections;  Ban on leave of education department employees in Islamabad

Islamabad: In view of the general elections in the country on February 8, Deputy Commissioner Islamabad has banned the leave of education department employees.

According to Express News, Deputy Kushman Islamabad Irfan Memon, while starting district returning measures, banned staff holidays in educational institutions, no government employee will be allowed to leave until the general elections.

A letter has been sent by District Returning Officer Irfan Memon to the DG Federal Directorate of Education, in which it has been directed that the employees of Federal Education will be present in the educational institutions even during the winter vacation, only with the permission of the authorized medical officer. Leave on maternity and medical grounds will be allowed on recommendation.

According to the post, the officers and other employees of the Federal Directorate of Education and its subsidiaries will not go to any other city even during winter vacations and will remain at their places of posting.
