Wasim’s daughter was also among the injured
Lahore: 4 people including a woman were killed and three others were injured after firing on a car in Salamatpura area of Baghbanpura, CCTV footage of the firing was also received by Express News.
The deceased woman was identified as Kiran. The shooting was done by Salman, the ex-husband of the deceased Karan. The deceased have been identified as Karan’s father Mehboob, sister Tayyaba and brother Abdullah, while the injured include Taj Bibi, Farah and a daughter of the murderer.
The accused who fired is Salman Karan’s ex-husband. Karan got rid of it some time ago. The accused is a criminal, due to which Kiran deposed. The deceased were residents of Faisalabad.
The police registered a case of the incident on the complaint of Aziz Farooq, according to which the former son-in-law Salman and three unknown motorcycle riders came while returning from the wedding ceremony last night. Accused Salman opened fire on the vehicle.
IG Punjab Dr Usman Anwar took notice of the incident and sought a report from CCPO Lahore. IG Punjab ordered the DIG Operations to immediately arrest the accused involved in the firing and said that all resources should be used to arrest the accused.
