Islamabad: The FIA raided the franchise of the mobile company and seized the illegal devices.
Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) Zonal Office Lahore in collaboration with Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) Cyber Crime Circle conducted a successful raid on the franchise of a mobile phone company in Lahore and seized illegal equipment. That the FIA team has detained one person.
According to the announcement issued by PTA Headquarters Islamabad, the franchisee was found involved in the illegal issuance of sims. During the raid, 13 BVS devices and a laptop were seized.
Further investigation of the matter is going on by the FIA. Earlier, the PTA had lodged a complaint with the FIA based on information about illegal issuance of sims through sales channels.
