Karachi: The Sindh High Court expressed its anger over the non-stopping of illegal constructions in the city despite several orders and ordered to recall the identity cards of the officers of the Building Control Authority.
According to the details, illegal constructions are continuing in the city in spite of several orders from the High Court, on which DGSBCA and the officers are expressing their anger on the court day by day.
The court reprimanded the officers and issued orders to block the identity cards, while the SBCA officers, instead of correcting their qibla, have allegedly continued to accept bribes from illegal constructions and legal construction workers as well. Due to this, the citizens are facing severe problems.
The Supreme Court is constantly expressing its anger on the illegal constructions in Karachi, while the DGSBCA Kotwatar is facing harsh remarks from the court, but instead of correcting their Qibla, the SBCA officers Court orders are seen flying in the air, allegedly patronizing illegal constructions.
Illegal constructions are being done indiscriminately in various blocks of Liaquat Aba, Nazimabad, North Karachi, New Karachi, Federal B Area in the Central District, while the Supreme Court has continuously instructed to take strict action against illegal constructions in the Central District. Re is being done but SBCA officers are not ready to take the court orders into consideration.
Some officers of SBCA are allegedly accepting bribes despite the approval of legally approved maps, due to which citizens who have constructed legally are also allegedly having to pay bribes.
Similarly, illegal constructions are going on on a large scale in Eastern District, especially in Admin Society, more than 200 illegal constructions are going on in PECH Society, which is allegedly fully sponsored by SBCA. The officers are Karr.
An illegal floor is being put up in the society for a huge bribe, but instead of stopping it, the SBCA officials are facilitating this illegal construction, similarly, illegal construction is being done in the scheme.
Despite the strict orders of the court in Karachi, the SBCA is not implementing the court orders, which comes under the category of the court, but the SBCA officials are putting the court orders in the trash. Indignation is being expressed on the part of the court for not stopping the illegal harassment of the SBCA officers.
In this regard, I called DGSBCA Ishaq Khoro to get his position, but he did not receive the call and when the official went to get his position, he was not present in the office during office hours.
