Karachi: There was a sudden increase in kidnapping incidents in Shahr Quaid, during 24 hours businessmen and youths were kidnapped who were taken away by the kidnappers disguised as CTD.
According to Express News, businessman Muhammad Harisur Rehman left for his poultry farm from Malir Cantt with his driver Asghar Khan on Tuesday afternoon, when he reached the dirt road down Bakai Cadet College road, a black car crossed his path. He stopped and 4 armed men got out of the vehicle, one of whom had a Kalashnikov and three others had other weapons.
The armed men revealed their affiliation with the CTD and the armed men took the businessman and his driver down from the vehicle and made them sit on the rear seats of the vehicle and going forward the armed men took the driver Asghar out of the vehicle and the businessman. Taken along, the case of kidnapping of the businessman was registered in the Gadap Town police station on the complaint of brother Hadiur Rehman.
Similarly, a 19-year-old youth, Mujtaba Ali, was abducted along with a car from Mimar Road, Ahsanabad area of Site Super Highway Industrial Area. An investigation has been started.
According to the FIR, the abducted youth, Mujtaba Ali, advertised a plot for sale on an online website, the alleged kidnapper named Kamran Pasha contacted Mujta to buy the plot, the plot deal was in the final stages, on Tuesday night. Kamran Pasha and his companion came to the young man’s house in North Nazim and they went back when they did not get the stamp paper for the plot deal.
After some time, Kamran Pasha called and said to Mujtaba that our car has been taken by the family.
From North Nazimabad Block L, Mujtaba Ali, his mother, friend Osama, the alleged kidnapper Kamran Pasha and his accomplice were riding in the car of the kidnapper. Placing them on the couch, the accused dropped the hostage’s mother and friend from the car near Jamali Bridge and took Mujtaba Ali along with them.
Kamran Pasha identified himself as an employee of a sensitive institution, the armed kidnappers took away the young man’s car, the original file of the plot, 4 mobile phones, cash and valuables.
Site Super Highway Industrial Area Police started searching for the abducted youth after registering a case.
