Cold weather is likely to increase in Karachi from December 18

Karachi: Under the influence of the new winter system, the weather is likely to be cold in Shahr Qaida from December 18.

According to the Meteorological Department, the second winter rain system of this year will enter Balochistan on December 15, which may simultaneously affect the upper regions of the country and Sindh.

Cold winds behind the rain system may affect Karachi and rural Sindh districts, as a result of which the temperature is expected to drop in Karachi from December 18.

According to Chief Meteorologist Karachi Sardar Sarfaraz, under the new expected winter system, the rain situation in Karachi will be clear in the next few days, however, there is a possibility that the weather will be cold compared to the recent days.

He says that the weather in the city is expected to be clear during the day and cool at night.

According to the forecast of the Early Warning Center of the Department of Meteorology, during the next 3 days, there is a possibility of clear and bright sunshine in the afternoon, the weather may be cool and slightly cold in the night and morning hours.

According to the Early Warning Center, in addition to the north-easterly winds of Balochistan, sea winds can also blow in the city.

The Meteorological Department further said that the mercury was 15 degrees lower than Pirkokum, while the maximum temperature was recorded at 31.1 degrees Celsius, an increase of 1.3 degrees Celsius compared to the previous day.

Due to fog in the morning, the boundary was reduced to one and a half kilometers (1500 meters). On Monday, the lowest temperature was recorded in Mithi in different districts of rural Sindh at 6 degrees Celsius.
