The new hybrid model of the Asia Cup and the presence of 4 countries has put India in trouble.

According to the sources, PCB Chairman Najam Sethi’s strict stance regarding Asia Cup and World Cup has also forced India to think.

The decision became difficult for ACC chief and Indian board secretary Jay Shah.

The Vice President of ACC who met Najam Sethi informed Jay Shah about all the details.

With 4 countries agreeing, the options for Jaishah are few and far between, India may condition Pakistan to come to India for the World Cup to agree to a hybrid model.

Pakistan will consult the government on the conditionalities of the hybrid model.

Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Nepal and Afghanistan have agreed to come to Pakistan for the first phase of the hybrid model.

There is a deadlock between Dubai and Sri Lanka for the second phase, other countries except Pakistan are in favor of holding the Asia Cup in Sri Lanka.

Sources say that Jay Shah may take the opinion of the officials on the occasion of BCCI’s special meeting on the Asia Cup as well, due to his busyness in the IPL, the affairs of the Asia Cup and the World Cup are delayed.

Pakistan Cricket Board is waiting for the decision regarding Asia, PCB is hopeful for the final decision of the Asia Cup during the next week, after the decision of the Asia Cup, Pakistan will decide about the World Cup.
