There has been an exchange of fire between the police and the kidnappers for the recovery of the businessman’s son in Jafarabad, a border area of Sindh Balochistan.
According to SSP Sameer Noor Chana, as a result of the firing, 3 policemen including an inspector were martyred on the spot while 4 others were injured.
He has said that during the exchange of fire, more police force was called.
SSP Sameer Noor Chana has said that during the encounter, the bandits escaped with the hostage, after which security has been put on high alert in the border area of Sindh-Balochistan.
He has further informed that the entire area has been cordoned off and the search is on to arrest the fugitive robbers.
According to SSP Samir Noor Chana, the martyred personnel include Sub-Inspector Tayyab Imrani, Constable Nisar Ahmed, Khadim Shah, Riaz Hussain, Abdul Wahab and Muhammad Usman.
