Islamabad: The High Court has issued a restraining order on the change of the Election Tribunal of Islamabad.
According to Express News, there has been a big progress in the case against the new tribunal for three circles of Islamabad, according to which Chief Justice Islamabad High Court Justice Aamir Farooq has issued an injunction to stop the new tribunal from functioning.
The court ordered to appear on June 24, summoning the League Member National Assembly Anjum Aqeel in personal capacity for using insulting words against Justice Tariq Mehmood Jahangiri.

The court remarked that the application for tribunal change used derogatory language. According to the lawyer, the language used in the petition was insulting and an attempt to scandalise.
It should be noted that the Election Commission had issued instructions to transfer the tribunal while approving the requests of the Legislature MNAs to change the tribunal of Islamabad.
