Karachi: The lowest temperature of this season has been recorded in Shahr Quaid today.
According to the meteorological department, the cold wave that has been going on since last week is getting more intense. The minimum temperature was recorded at 10 degrees Celsius at the weather station (Pahlwan Goth) with official data on Thursday.
The minimum temperature in Gulistan-Johar area today was 8 degrees Celsius, while the minimum mercury was recorded at 8 degrees at Jinnah Terminal Weather Station, 11.5 degrees Celsius at Shahrah Faisal and Maripur.
The weather department had predicted yesterday that the weather of Quaid city will be colder for the next 3 days. Meanwhile, the weather is expected to remain dry during the day and cold at night, while the minimum mercury may be recorded between 10 and 12 degrees.
