General (retd) Arif Hasan has resigned as the President of Pakistan Olympic Association (POA).
According to the text of the letter to the Executive Committee of POA, General Arif Hasan has left the presidency due to ill health.
In the letter, Arif Hasan says that he is resigning from his post on January 1, 2024. The decision was not easy.
Arif Hasan was the President of POA for 19 years, he was elected as the President of POA for the first time in March 2004.
